em:t.cc is a free service, provided at zero cost to ambient lovers everywhere since 2000. We would very much like to keep it that way. Unfortunately, it's hardly a free world out there.
For em:t.cc to continue existing, money has to come out of somewhere. Until now we have depended exclusively on volunteers who generously contributed their personal resources, time and money. Yet our own success has driven us to the point where contributions made by a few individuals are not enough anymore. em:t.cc must pay for its operating costs or it will go the way t:me recording did.
So we joined the eBay affiliate program. In short, it allows us to get $0.05 for every bid you place, and a fat $5 for every new user that registers with them. It isn't much, but it helps.
