First described in 1964 by psychoacoustician Roger Shepard, and then studied by french composer Jean Claude Risset, "Pitch Invariant Sound" are invariant by transposition. I guess this track is a straightforward csound realisation of the "Risset Glissando" the continuous counterpart of the discrete Shepard tones. ▪
