Actually, Richard, where I live we don't get very much snow at all becauseI live just above sea level. The nearby coastal mountains, however, have a beautiful white coating on them, starting in December this year. Downtown Vancouver is soaked in rain throughout the majority of the winter though, so enjoy your snow :) ▪

Hi Josef, how is it in Vancouver right now? I've been working with someone from Vancouver lately. It snowed in Nottingham the other day and we were all amazed at snow in November! I guess you're used to snow a bit more.......

Just a bit of trivia for you:
If you play the alien voice (which is a recording of the final guardian in the PC game Doom) backwards, it says "To win the game, you must kill me, John Romero."
And indeed, if you use some game cheats to access a hidden room behind the guardian's head into which you need to fire rockets, there is a pike with John Romero's (the game's creator) severed head impaled on it. ▪
