I think we did shave a minute or two off several of the longer tracks, probably Angels In t:me & Ghosts of Catalonia. So, hopefully I will get round to this remastering of the full length versions soon!

Sure, 13 1/2 minutes is already a decent length for it, but 15 minutes would be even better ;-) Btw, have other tracks on the album been edited too? ▪
I think there is only an extra minute or two missing from the end of anthropomorphic on the album. We had to edit to fit stuff on. Glad you like it Philip. I'm just recovering from a minor operation and then I'll be setting a date again to remaster! Woo Hoo!

I finally got it! And if you ask me, it's my favourite em:t release so far. Simply excellent what you composed there, Qubism!! I'll certainly write a full review some time, but for now I just want to say that 'Anthropomorphic' and 'Angels in t:me' are among the greatest tracks I've heard in my life. They're two of those tracks I get goosebumps when listening to them :)
I can't wait to hear the new tracks on the special edition. And also the even more complete version of Anthropomorphic of course ;) ▪

The other day, I was mostly looking at original 500+ year old Aztec Artefacts. This was at an amazing exhibtion of Aztec art at The Royal Academy Of Arts in London, including a lot of statues of their Gods. The coolest was Mictlantecuhtli, the Lord of Death. He appears as a half flayed body with a skull for a head but with proper eyes in the sockets. Just under his ribs, his Liver is hanging out of his abdomen. This is something to do with their belief that the spirit / soul was in the Liver!
The only reason I'm telling you this is that I have just educated myself on this subject quite a bit and found out a bit more about the ancient city of Teotihuacan (also the name of the first track on my Qubism CD). The spooky thing is, no one knows who lived there. The Aztecs found the place as a deserted abandoned city including 3 fair sized pyramids. Quoting from the guide: "Before its decline in 700AD, Teotihuacan had been a wondrous city of about 200,000 people, with extensive temple complexes and specialist craft districts. Historically, it was a site of vital importance to the Aztecs, who revered it as the City Of The Gods('Teotihuacan')."
This only seems to add more spookiness to the chanting etc. on my track. The great thing is that apparently, the Aztecs liked to have a good time. The Shamen especially. They all drank some alcoholic drink called pulque. They loved chocolate and loved beating their drums and dancing around! The Shamen also added something extra to their pulque, psychotropic juice from plants!(I think). They must have been off their heads and really thought they were a Jaguar / Eagle or whichever god beast they were worshipping at the time!
If you are in the UK, this exhibtion is amazing and I recommend a visit!

The "jumping" on anthropomorphic is actually the just the volume fading to an expected end and then the track just starting again at full blast! If you notice, there is no actual gap and if you were either dancing(!?) or clapping in time, the rhythm continues in t:me (no pun intended!) Happy listening, Q ▪

Not quite the full length anthropomorphic, but longer than the compilation edit. The original recording is two minutes longer, you never know, it might surface in some form in the new year.
Cheers,

The track anthropomorphic on here is an unedited version of the one on em:t 0094... It features some weird jumping (made me think my CD was skipping :) ▪
