just my 2 cents....but i like it when hard to find music stays hard to find. It is a great feeling to hunt down an album that rocks when it is also really hard to get your hands on. Dennis...Pinnacle don't have any stock to distribute, there are virtually no copies of the original digipack albums in existence. There are, however, plans afoot to rerelease some of the albums if the artists concerened are into the idea so watch this space. ▪

To reply to Dennis, even though the original label folded the copyright of the music returned to the artists Therefore any form of copying means your only taking money out of the pockets of those musicians you respect. If you want to buy copies of the original music drop me an e-mail as I have some copies of the old catalogue left. ▪

Can you believe that many of the original albums were for sale a long time in my small hometown in a really horribly commercial recordstore ?!! I bought 2 albums,emt0094 & beatsystem2297,and never realised their exclusivity!So I wasn't in a hurry to buy more,because I thought there was enough time to buy. Since then of course nothing but regrets and hunting down any copy I can find,but guess what... Can't anybody put his collection on Kazaa? Please...no holy artist talk.The original label went bankrupt so the artists don't get any money either way. ▪

Not like I care :) I found out about Gas, Miasma and all those beautiful, beautiful artists through Drone Zone @ SomaFM.com.
Always being an introspective person who grew up listening to Amorphous Androgynous & their other alias, FSOL, I was amazed when I heard what vast soundscapes had been carved into veritable existance by EM:t's artists. All of them. I don't understand! Why don't any of your artists sound mediocre?
Mind you, I had to do research -- in the internet radio, all the information I got was "04. Microscopic". I had to sift through hundreds of CDs, and, even then, my only thought and hint to go on was that it could only be track four on whatever album it may be on.
Thanks to the futuristic name of yours, I thought to myself "This sounds like ambient namery" and took a chance by ordering Gas' album through a friend of mine. I haven't looked back. Rather, I prefer to turn on the compilation, close my eyes, and look inwards.. ▪

I'm willing to pay for Woob cd-rs (besides 1194) with quality artwork. If items are OOP with no tentative re-release, there is absolutely no harm in copying them. The artist would not get royalties as used originals or cd-rs, otherwise. I would gladly replace cd-rs for re-released originals. So please, spare the sanctimonious rhetoric if you wish to grumble. I think this is the most quality ambient music around. By quality I mean that it is music that someone with great patience has applied a careful ear to, and the result being completely original sound scapes. Great work is often hard to come by these days, and I would be more than happy to pay money and/or save money by getting it online via MP3 format. If this becomes available I would love an email! It's a shame em:t went under. I'd love the label to reappear. The music explored on em:t was origional and unique. It's a loss not to have em:t to represent this sector of music anymore. ▪
