I dunno if I should be replying to this, cuz I do not have all the info...perhaps I can get Matt@em:t to come on here and shed some light.....but it appears em:t is on hiatus at the moment due to funds, which is the main reason my album isn't gonna be released. ITEM was intended to be a sub-label of em:t, catering to a wider style-base than the more strictly ambient em:t style. Matt has informed me that he's doing what he can to get both labels up and running, and I definitely hope he does, cuz nobody else wants to deal with my music. Seems I'm not dancey enough for the labels I have contacted, and not ambient enough for other labels....I don't think its that the music is bad (what do I know, it could be), its just that no one wants to take the risk in trying to sell it. I dont get it myself, the music industry had proved tim and time again that you can polish any turd and make money off of it.

I'm not really worried about it....I will continue to make music and provide it for free if thats the way it has to be.

I personally would like to see em:t get picked up by a larger label with more widespread distribution....they have proved that they can release a consistently above average product.

I hope this sheds some light on the subject.

1104 is one of my fave emit albums, its been seeing the laser light more often than the others latley.
If the new album is anything like 1104, i cant wait until it comes out!
