'0097' is truly an amazing album. I heard 3 of the tracks ('Water', 'Your Chair', and 'My Dangerous Life', my favorite) on Groove Salad and just fell in love with them. I called every used CD store I could find, no luck; tried ordering the CD from the UK and from Australia, no luck; bid on used copies of '0097' on eBay, no luck (was always outbid); and finally e-mailed an eBay seller and offered him US$60 to pull his auction and sell the CD to me directly. Since then, I've listened to the CD at least once a day. I wish there were more Slim albums! And I'd love it if the lyrics were posted somewhere... ▪

Hello, Slim here. No, really. Someone brought my attention to the too-kind comments - Rob from Cambridge take a bow, you lovely man - posted on this site regarding my [brief] career as an Em:t poster gal. Just to set the record straight, the 'beat combo' Slim consisted of myself, Will Joss and Tom Smyth. I wrote all the material on 0097, which was co-arranged and co-produced with Will and Tom (who indeed also had their own project, Miasma, as well as more or less being the Em:t house engineers). I am currently living in London but I'm definitely not in PR, high flying or otherwise. You're close though, I work in the media, shooting and editing videos for streaming on websites and mobile platforms. Since my Em:t days, I've been more involved in writing and photography, however I'd love to get back to doing music in some capacity and plan to maybe start something this year, although it will probably be a very lo-fi, tinkering with samples kind of affair that may not see the light of day. Maybe I'll also get around to creating a website too…we shall see. So, thanks for the encouraging words and warm sentiments. 'Right back at ya' is the phrase, I believe.

I've heard that slim (the singer, not musicians/producers behind the vocals) is working in London, doing something high flying in PR or some such. I think em:t records are back in contact with her, but not sure if she's still interested in singing - a shame if she isn't. ▪

as of yet their cyber locations and history are unknown; other then what was feature upon the em:t albums & t:me dance vinyl (i assume they were featured at least once on the vinyl...??)

very nice , never heard something like this everykind of ambient or experimental music is so diffirent and not the same feeling you get with emit. So special!
